Crowstoes Indian Summer

Hiya! Today I have a polish that has been around for a while BUT it's new to me and quite frankly the interwebs need more pics of this amazing polish.....Crowstoes Indian Summer!! First off let me start by saying I am sick to death of blogs that are trying to impress polish makers by over editing pics and misrepresenting the color of the polish....shame on you!!!! We all know a few of those i'm sure...we see the pics and think "wow..beautiful!" but deep down we know it's NOT going to look like that on us! I am NOT that person...I am here for YOU and me, not the polish makers. I will always try to get the most color accurate pics and if it's not I will say so. With that rant out of the way...let's get started!!
I used 3 thinnish coats for this mani. You don't want to overwork this polish..it'll leave you with bald spots. It's described as a burgundy based purple with magenta to orange color shift. I'm not going to argue with that...you can see from the pics how many faces this beauty has ;)

I stamped with Mentality Polish Shindig and Pueen SE02A (this set is pretty awesome!!!) On with the pics!

The above pic was taken outside on a very dreary day...no sun to speak of and STILL this polish is amazing. I find sometimes multi-chromes show their colors more in dimmer lighting anyway.
The above pic is the only one I edited..it was almost dark and I added some flash to show how this baby was glowing!! It's such an amazing polish!

This has fast landed at the top of my faves of all time and i'm not even a berry colored lover..in fact it's probably one of my least picked polish'. It's not the kind of polish where you have to try to see all the colors...they're just there..all the time! No joke.
I bought mine at Harlow&Co but it's currently out of stock. You can sign up by email to be notified when it's available. Check them out on Facebook for a complete listing of where to purchase.

Hope this was helpful and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask :)

Polished by KPT Mars Escapade

Hi folks! Today I have for you my very first thermal polish! I saw pictures of this on FB and knew I had to have it!! Now getting ahold of this can feel a bit like stalking but all good things come to those who wait, right? lol Don't get me wrong..it's not like waiting for an Enchanted Polish so chances are good you'll get your hands on it! ;)
I'm not big on explanations of color as I figure the pictures will illustrate that better anyway...if there's something i'm not able to capture then i'll bring that up. Formula was on the thicker side but didn't hinder application at all. I needed a good 3 coats for this but it's worth it ;)

So the pictures acsend from the warmest state to the coldest state and the lovely transitioning in between. In both warm and cold the polish is very complex and lovely!

So in conclusion...I loved it! Will I rush out and buy more thermals? I'd say the chances are pretty good but this one has set the bar really high :) What do you think?
I bought mine from Harlow&Co here in Canada and it retailed for $14.50
If you check out Polished by KPT's FB page they tell you where to buy internationally and domestic.
Bye for now!

Polished by KPT Lumieres and ILNP Supernova

Hi there!! Been awhile...first post of 2015!! So today i'm reviewing two polish brands i've never tried before and I happen to have fallen madly in love with both of them!! First up is Lumieres from Polished by KPT. Now I had heard from other bloggers that this needed many coats to be opaque...I didn't find this to be the case. Great formula and depending on nail shape/length 2-3 coats for opacity. It really is a pretty special polish and certainly gets noticed!! It also wasn't too terribly hard to get off as far as glitters go so that was a bonus.
Now on to ILNP Supernova...I sponged that on so can't comment too much on opacity but I had previously tried Supernova and found it went on easy and built up nicely. I would probably use a basecoat of a similar color next time just because it doesn't cover perfectly at the cuticle area due to the different sized shapes of the flakes. They lie flat..yay and removal is not like typical flakies...more like taking off a shimmer without the left behind particles all over your fingers.
Anyway...picture time! As usual you might want to enlarge the photos :)

The above two pics really show off that beautiful lilac purple...drool!The bottom two really highlight the fabulous glitter. Sorry..no direct sunshine but it probably would've freaked my camera out anyway! lol

And these last three are with Supernova sponged on...it's so amazing!!! Flashes of blue, teal, green and violet dance across your fingers!! I found that was mostly purple and teal which I prefer anyway ;)
I stamped with Pueen SE01B and Konad Black.

As always if you have any questions please don't be shy...I love hearing from you <3
I purchased Lumieres from Harlow&Co and I recieved 8 of the Ultra Chrome Flakies as a gift from my Mom :) Lucky girl, right?!
