Nfu Oh 54 Flaky Fun

Hi everyone! Just decided it was time to play with some beautiful aqua flakies..who doesn't love a good flaky?? So I started with a base of OPI I'm Feeling Sashy ( I think it's from the Miss Universe Collection). I used 2 coats..I wanna say it was a crelly formula..a little patchy on the first coat but the second fixed things right up. A nice greyed out medium purple...at least that's how I see it. Really flattering shade. Then I layered on 2 coats of Nfu Oh 54...and I did this in two steps cause I heard they have horrible dry time. A thin layer before bed and one when I got up..worked perfectly. Tonnes of flaky pay off...even after taking most off the brush. Then I used my new MoYou Suki Collection-06 plate!! That image transferred perfectly..worth the wait! They shipped on Feb.4 and I just got them today..I was under the impression they shipped faster but as long as you know what to expect..there's no disappointment :) I stamped with Spa Ritual Osmium..a gorgeous blackened navy/teal jelly..had no idea it would be so great for stamping! On with the pic spam! :) Make sure to click on the pics to get enlarged images...

Sadly I forgot to take a pic of OPI I'm Feeling Sashy on it's own :( This gives you an idea though. Hope you liked! If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Have a nice Monday :)

Valentine Nails

Hi everyone! Hope you're all enjoying Valentine's Day! The Hubby and I have decided to skip this one..we do that once in a while ;) But I still felt like having a cute Valentine mani...i'll get right to it :)
I used Ozotic 607 on my accent fingers and thumb and Glitter Gal Red Sparkle (type o negative) on pointer and pinky. Both brands discontinued these amazing scattered holo's..sad face. Good news though...apparently piCture pOlish (the makers of the Ozotic brand) have decided to bring back some of these scattered holo's and give them a new name. Yay! Look forward to those if you don't already have them cause they are amazing! Sadly Glitter Gal has not said they'll be bringing any of the scattered holo series back but they did come out with two new ones recently...Dorothy's Revenge and Galaxy Holo Topcoat. They're stunning and as far as I know no one else has come out with a scattered holo topcoat..it's a must have for any polish lover.
So I stamped with Pueen35 and then dotted in GG Red Sparkle on the hearts. I really loved how this turned out...in fact i've worn it for over a week! My go to topcoat is Out the Door Fast Drying Topcoat and as always my undies are OPI Nail Envy. On with the pics!

The bottom two are the lovely Ozotic 607...a nude pink that i'm totally in love with! Two coats and an amazing formula..same with GG Red Sparkle. No sun of course...that's par for the course here in Alberta, Canada but what's a gal to do?

This last photo was the original mani but I just felt it was too much going on and I wanted to focus on those pretty hearts instead. What do you think?
Well I hope you have a fabulous Valentine's Day...and a great weekend :) make sure to enlarge photos so you can see all that sparkle! Bye for now....

Ninja Polish Alexandrite

First blog post of 2014!

Soooo...it's been a VERY long time since i've made a blog post! Mainly because I figured not too many people even see them...I don't even really follow blogs! lol I'm pretty much just a Facebook and Instagram poster but I figured i'd start again...not sure how long this stint will go on for but hey..i'll give it a go :) If you enjoy them..let me know, then perhaps i'll keep them coming :)
Enough blabbing...let's get on with the goods! This post is dedicated to the AMAZING Ninja Polish Alexandrite. Need I say more? Most of you know how great it is already and some of us were lucky enough to get a bottle! It flashes between pink, aqua and purple..i've layered it over piCture pOlish violet femme which turned out to be a very good pairing in my opinion :) I used two coats of VF and 1.5 of Alexandrite.

The first pic is stamped with BM-H16 & BM-H18

All pics are taken in natural lighting with no sun except for the above shot...that's some flash to give you an idea of how this baby glows :)

Isn't it just lovely?! Well, hopefully you enjoyed my first post in 2014! I hear piCture pOlish has come out with a new collection to be released sometime in Feb or early Mar and i'm hoping that there's a polish similar to this in that new collection...Aurora is the name of that little beauty. You can check out a swatch of that on their FB page and IG. I bought this beauty myself...when someone sends me something to review you'll all be the first to know cause I won't shut up about it :)
Have a wonderful Monday!!
